Amazon Kindle Leather Cover (fits 2nd Generation Kindle)
I bought my Kindle 2 last March along with the Amazon Kindle Leather Cover. About 2 weeks ago, I opened the cover and discovered that there was a star-shaped crack in the plastic casing around the Kindle. I knew that it hadn't been dropped, so I was very puzzled and understandably upset. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the top prong which inserted into the Kindle had somehow twisted and pushed into the plastic of the Kindle, causing the break in the casing. I have no idea how this happened or what could have prevented it. Obviously, I'll be ordering a different type of cover to protect my Kindle. Buyer beware!

I bought this for my new Kindle. What a waste! It simply hooks the Kindle in with two "prongs". The cover does not stay securely closed as it has no latch or zipper! I placed my Kindle in this cover and soon, my Kindle was knocked off my bed onto the hardwood floor! Needless to say, my Kindle landed face down (of course!) with the cover wide opened! Now my brand new Kindle has two nicks on it! Don't buy this cover if you are expecting it to offer any sort of protection at all!

Don't buy this case! It cracked my Kindle. Had to bully my way through Amazon CS to get them to replace the kindle (had it less than a month). VERY POOR DESIGN!

Just want to add my voice to the voice of many others. This case will crack your kindle! I was shocked when the hairline crack developed and really disappointed. I have yet to try customer service but I don't have much hope of them replacing the whole kindle for a crack. We'll see..

It looks good, but the clips don't hold the Kindle. I would not recommend this to anybody. I only had it for two months before it Kindle started detaching itself. I am very disappointed.
